This Banyon tree was in a 5 gallon pot when I planted in the mid 80's. I was living across the street and had to drag the garden hose across the street to water this garden.

All of the ADOPT A GARDEN projects are basically cacti and succulents. This keeps the need for water and maintenance at the utmost minimum.

Several BROAD BEACH residents participate in sponsoring (funding) ADOPT A GARDEN projects.

Irrigation is the first essential requirement to establish before starting a new project.

Many of our projects are gratefully funded by BB property owners.

And many are unsponsored, in other words funded by me. Aka SunflowerMalibu.

Errosion control and wild fire prevention are probably the two biggest collateral advantages to making an ADOPT A GARDEN commitment. Oh yeah and the esthetics.
